Whether we care to admit it or not,
All the events in this world's arena
Are planned and carried out by God who
Works out His own purposes and agenda.





When the Jews in the time of Esther
Faced extermination by the wicked Haman,
The God of Heaven on the throne knew
That the saving of His people was in His plan.





This was nothing new - from the beginning
Satan wanted God's people annihilated;
Onward to the end of time he carries out
Devious plans to destroy the people he hated.





But Satan was no match for the God of Esther
Who protected His people from Haman's ill;
His wicked schemes were thwarted for
God worked out the counsels of His own will.





The proud but drunken King Ahasuerus,
Wanted to show off Queen Vashti
To his princes and the people at the feast;
To this, the beautiful queen didn't comply.





Needless to say this King of Persia
Was very wroth as you could imagine;
And it was from this setting that birthed
The idea of having a beauty pageant.





Of all the fair virgins in the realm
Beautiful Esther was selected the queen;
Her coming into the kingdom was permitted
By One who was working behind the scenes.





For such a time as this, Queen Esther
Came to intercede for the Jews she served;
She found favor in the eyes of the king
And the whole nation was preserved.





As in the days of Esther and Mordecai
God will thwart works of wickedness
Directed to His people who firmly stand to
Vindicate His Truth, His Law, His Righteousness.





Rev 17:22 says the Devil was wroth with the
Woman and went to make war with the remnant
of her seed which keep the commandments
of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ.





The last-day, commandment-keeping Church
Is confronted with the ire of the Devil;
But the God of Esther is the same God today
And will keep His Church from all evil.





Dan 12:1 tells of a time of trouble such
As never was since there was a nation;
The trials God's end-time people will face
Would make the holocaust pale in comparison.





God's people will not be raptured away
For Jesus said I pray not that thou
shouldest take them out of the world, but
that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
(John 17:15)





By a mighty deliverance not unlike the
Deliverance of the Jews in the time of Esther
Or of the Israelites out of Egyptian bondage,
God's people will be delivered by the Father.





They sing the song of Moses and of the Lamb,
This song is a song of deliverance;
Others will not be able to learn it for they
Didn't go thru a last-day tribulation experience.





They are pure, without spots or wrinkle,
They are holy, just, faithful and obedient,
Their characters fully reflect His image,
They are winners in God's beauty pageant.
